یهودیت چیست؟ این سئوال به آن عجیبی که به نظر میرسد نیست. اجازه دهید ببینیم که یهودی چه مخلوق ویژه ای است، که تمام فرمانروایان و تمام ملل به اتفاق و جداگانه به او ناحقی و تجاوز کرده اند، به او ستم روا داشته و آزارش داده اند، لگد مالش کرده و بیرحمانه او را کشته اند، او را سوزانده و حلق آویزش کرده اند وبا وجود تمام این کینه ورزیها هنوز پابرجاست.

چیست یهودی، که هرگز به خود اجازه نداده توسط ثروت دنیوی که ستمگران و آزار دهندگانش دائماً برای عوض کردن ایمانش و رها کردن باور یهودیت به او ارائه میکردند گمراه شود؟

یهودیت آن آفریده روحانی است که آتش جاودان مقدس را از افلاک به پایین آورد وتمام دنیا را منور کرد. مبدا تمام مذاهب، سرچشمه و منبع دیگر باورها واعتقادات است.

یهودیت تمثیل ابدیت است. آنچه که نه قتل وعام وشکنجه هزاران ساله نتوانسته آنرا تباه کند، آنچه نه آتش و نه شمشیر نه تفتیش قادر بوده از روی صفحه زمین محوش کند، او اولین بود که الهام الهی را پیام آورد و اوست که برای زمانی بس متوالی نگهبان نبوت و اشاعه دهنده آن به تمام دنیا میباشد، این چنین ملتی را کسی نمیتواند نابود کند.

The Jew is the emblem of eternity. He whom neither slaughter nor torture of thousands of years could destroy, he whom neither fire nor sword nor inquisition was able to wipe off the face of the earth, he who was the first to produce the oracles of G-d, he who has been for so long the guardian of prophecy, and who transmitted it to the rest of the world - such a nation cannot be destroyed.

The Jew is as everlasting as is eternity itself."
